Youve witnessed dozens of cults come and go throughout the years, some looking for the holy grail, others for the cure for male pattern baldness or philosopher stones. The only thing that really stuck with you however, is the insatiable urge to profit from the shmucks.  After you bought your very first computer and catching a signal on top of your wizard tower, you decided you'll do just that.

How to play

In gnostocks you manage a potion store akin to games like papa's pizzeria.  people will come in and place orders it's your job to brew their potions and serve it to them. make 5k without letting your reputation go below 0 and you win!

you can find your intial stash of potions in your inventory, to move between your work spaces use the A and D keys. 

to serve a potion to your costumers click and drag the potions towards them, while dragging you may also press A and D to move around.

now that you know how to sell now you must know how to brew.

to brew you'll need to first buy ingridients using the S key you can open the shop in it, there are 3 main tabs, items, boxes and recipies.

visit the items section and select the item you wish to buy, items only come in the form of boxes, so once you've selected your item you need to select which kind of box of items you wish to buy. for your first playthrough we recommend the lowest tier. but buying higher quality ingredients will yield higher quality potions which you can make a lot more money from!

to see which combinations yield potions visit the recipes tab.

to make the most out of the potion you are making you'll want to check the economy tab by pressing W. in the economy tab you can see a prediction of what your costumers will want to buy over the week. try to make potions riding the wave of demand. in here you may also set your prices and the quality you advertize.

setting your prices lower and your quality higher will increase the amount of costumers you get across the day while doing the opposite decreases it.

now once you buy boxes you can expect the shipment to arrive at the end of the day or night currently in cycle.

to take the ingridients out of the box, shake the box!.

to cook it go to your cauldrons work place.

dump all your matching ingredients into one cauldron then the cauldron will match the ingredients into the recipe you want, then you press the button to "cook"

cooking takes a really long time, so you can speed or slow down time with E and Q respectively.
